What is the difference in VG and PG e liquid or e Juice?

If you’re new to electronic cigarettes you’ll want to take familiarize yourself with these ingredients.

VG or Vegetable Glycerin (VG) and is a thick, clear, odorless liquid that comes from carbohydrates of plant oils. It is used in many of products ranging from food to cosmetic. VG is what produces a large vapor cloud.

The VG that is used by Juice Logix is a minimum 99.7% purity USP grade Kosher certified Vegetable Glycerin suitable for use as a carrier base and dilutant for our organic Nicotine solutions. The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has issued a warning concerning glycerin produced from the Jatropha plant which can contain toxins, including phorbol esters, that naturally occur in the plant. All of our vegetable-derived glycerin is 100% sourced from palm fruit, and does not contain any Jatropha plant or derivatives.

PG stands for Propylene Glycol (PG) and is a simulation of natural gas made by chemist that can be found in many consumer and food products such as lotions and ice crème. PG is known to get users a better throat hit and is a much thinner liquid. Some people are sensitive to PG and it has a higher rate for causing allergic reactions. Both chemicals are non-toxic and can be digested. Juice Logix uses a 50/50 mix of PG & VG to hopefully eliminate the possibility of an allergic reaction.
